History

In 1968, many Canadians regarded pizza as an exotic new taste. Aware of its unlimited potential, Bernard Imbeault and two friends agreed that the time was right to open a chain of restaurants that offered pizza as the main dish. They bought a small take-out restaurant in Shediac, New Brunswick and called it “Pizza Delight”. The pizza, with its secret recipe sauce, was an instant hit! In just a few short years, they launched a chain of Pizza Delight restaurants in the Maritimes and Ontario.

Today Canadian owned, Imvescor Inc. is a privately held corporation with headquarters in Moncton, Montréal and Mississauga. It operates franchised and corporate restaurants under the brand names Pizza Delight®, Scores®, Mikes® and Bâton Rouge®. Our large network of suppliers allows franchisees to benefit from economies of scale on food supplies and other services.
